Crowe JHB is proud to celebrate three of its team members who have taken the initiative to participate in the University of Pretoria's Final Year Mentorship Programme. This meaningful initiative is designed to support students as they transition from university to the professional world, offering guidance, mentorship, and real-world insight from seasoned professionals.
Although participation in this programme is entirely voluntary and undertaken in a personal capacity, we are incredibly proud to recognise and applaud Tammiline Willard, Sheena Indhul (BPhil, MPhil IB), and our CEO, Raakesh Khandoo CA(SA), for their generous contribution of time, energy, and wisdom.
Their commitment to mentorship reflects the values we hold dear at Crowe – leadership, integrity, and a passion for investing in people. Each mentor brought their own unique perspective and experience to the programme:
Tammiline Willard, with her structured, empathetic, and thoughtful approach, help mentees gain clarity on career paths, workplace expectations, and personal development goals.
Sheena Indhul (BPhil, MPhil IB), drawing from her dynamic marketing background and multi-disciplinary expertise, inspired mentees to think strategically, embrace creativity, and step confidently into their next chapter.
Raakesh Khandoo CA(SA), in his capacity as CEO, shared insights on leadership, resilience, and the importance of aligning values with career aspirations, an opportunity few students experience at such an early stage.
As part of their mentorship journey, the mentees Blessing Majola, Pushetji Selolo , and Omphile Molefe visited our CroweJHB offices. They spent the day learning about the different divisions within the firm, engaging with our staff, and gaining first-hand insight into how a professional services environment operates.
Over lunch, they had the opportunity to connect informally with partners and directors, ask questions, and absorb the culture of a dynamic workplace. The visit offered them a valuable learning experience outside the classroom, a glimpse into the real world of business that will no doubt leave a lasting impression as they prepare to launch their careers.
At Crowe, we believe in growing tomorrow’s leaders today. While this mentorship programme was not a formal company initiative, it is a powerful reminder that when individuals choose to give back, they lift others and strengthen the fabric of our future workforce.
To our Crowe team members, Tammiline, Sheena, and Raakesh – thank you for leading with heart and purpose.
