Crowe hires seasoned valuation industry advisor, James Weaver, to expand southeast market

CHICAGO (April 17, 2024) – Crowe LLP, a public accounting, consulting, and technology is pleased to announce the hiring of James Weaver as a Consulting Partner in the Valuation Services practice. With over twenty years of experience in the valuation industry, James will play a key role in strengthening Crowe’s market focus in the valuation sector, particularly in the southeast. He will also serve as the national leader for Crowe’s healthcare valuation team.

Prior to joining Crowe, James held various leadership roles at KPMG, where he led national initiatives in the U.S. valuation practice and served on KPMG’s global valuation leadership team as the Americas head of valuations. While at KPMG, he also served in the firm’s Department of Professional Practice and Washington National Tax teams and co-led the healthcare valuation team. James spent part of his career at Banc of America Securities where he provided investment banking advisory services and was employed by Arthur Andersen’s Financial Valuation Services Group. Over the course of his career, he has advised clients on a wide range of valuation-related issues relating to acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, tax planning, and financial reporting matters.
