CHICAGO (December 18, 2025) – Crowe LLP, a leading public accounting and consulting firm, today announced a new and extended collaboration with HITRUST, the leader in information security assurance for risk management and compliance, to help organizations advance and simplify third-party risk management (TPRM) programs. The effort will enable clients to streamline vendor cybersecurity and AI assessments, reduce manual exchange with third parties and gain clearer, ongoing insight into their suppliers’ security posture.

Crowe is integrating HITRUST’s gold-standard security and AI certification platform to automate intake and review steps, draw on verified assessment information and continuously monitor gaps and issues identified through the HITRUST assessment and certification processes.

"Embedding this platform into our TPRM offerings strengthens the support we provide to organizations across every aspect of HITRUST use," said Erika Del Giudice, Crowe HITRUST consulting leader. "Crowe helps TPRM programs strengthen their risk management capabilities and improve results while lowering costs. In addition, we help vendors and assessed companies navigate and customize their certification path with ease and efficiency. This is a real win-win for our customers and the marketplace."

This enhanced approach helps organizations shorten assessment timelines, increase consistency across their vendor landscape and reduce repetitive manual work. As adoption grows, more suppliers will be encouraged to pursue recognized security certifications, reducing redundant assessments and improving overall ecosystem resilience.

“We are very excited about our expanded relationship with Crowe,” said Blake Sutherland, EVP of Market Engagement at HITRUST. “We are seeing a sharp increase in the adoption of HITRUST into TPRM programs and a reciprocal increase in demand from organizations seeking certification, and Crowe is stepping into that demand with some very compelling and highly needed solutions.”

This expanded collaboration also complements Crowe’s established HITRUST services, which support clients through certification readiness, remediation and ongoing assurance. HITRUST also benefits from Crowe’s integration experience, technology reach and market insight as both organizations work to elevate efficiency and trust in third-party assurance programs.
