Get ready for the new PCI standard

On March 31, 2022, the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) issued version 4.0 of the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), with a two-year period for adoption. While that two-year window might seem like plenty of time to adopt, it might pass faster than you think – and it’s not something you can cram into a few months' time. The new PCI standard presents a big shift in organizational responsibilities, which means you’ll need to dedicate time and resources to both the initial lift of compliance and the maintenance that comes after adoption. Plus, you’ll have to decide if it’s best for your organization to take the defined approach to adoption or work out a customized plan. It’s a lot to consider – so where do you start? Our PCI team can help.

In this recording, our PCI specialists give you the big picture on adopting the new standard. They cover what you need to know about the PCI standard, discuss the pros and cons of a standard versus customized approach, and help you digest the next best steps for your organization.

Our team can help you:

  1. Summarize the big picture of PCI DSS 4.0, including a high-level overview and adoption timelines
  2. Determine whether you need a standard or customized approach to adopting the new PCI standard
  3. Identify the biggest requirements of the new PCI standard – and how you can start planning now
