Each year, Crowe participates in CSR activities in aid of our charity partner, Barnardos Ireland. This year, one of our initiatives placed us in the heart of North Dublin in support of the Better Finglas campaign.
Better Finglas is a preventative and early intervention service for children and families, based in an area that has high levels of intergenerational poverty, unemployment, drug and alcohol misuse and mental health issues, and low levels of educational attainment. Crowe volunteers recently helped out the campaign in St Oliver Plunkett's National School, Dublin 11.
Better Finglas has set a goal to make St Oliver Plunkett's NS more child-friendly and trauma-informed. The school is surrounded by grey metal railings, and this is off-putting and austere to young children. Crowe was tasked with transforming the railings into bright, playful colours with a design that would bring a smile to the young children in the community and school.
We're delighted to be part of this initiative and honoured to have provided support to Barnardos and Better Finglas.
