We get a chance to have a catch up with Lidia Lenhardt, who recently joined our consulting team after moving from Hungary to Ireland in February 2021. We find out about her extensive public sector experience and what she enjoys most about her new role in Crowe.

Briefly, tell us about your career to date. 

I am a qualified Project Manager with a MA in Economics and Public Policy Management from Hungary and have a lot of experience working on e-government projects. Over the past six years I have been involved in more than 30 projects in Hungary, I also worked on two World Bank financed projects in Albania and Uzbekistan. I moved to Ireland in February 2021 to master my English and grow professionally. 

Why Crowe? 
I joined in Crowe in February 2021, having just arrived from Hungary. I am driven to be the best at what I do, and I wanted to work somewhere where I have opportunity to develop my skills, take on interesting projects and work with people I can really learn from. Crowe offered all this. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 
I like the autonomy I have because I am able to innovate, give my opinion and share my ideas. Also, every day is different and constant adventure for me. Finally, I like the challenge of working on multiple projects simultaneously.  

Give me three words that describe Crowe’s culture.
Challenging, motivational and professional. 

What is the best advice you have received and from whom? 
 
From my Dad, “Dare to dream big.”

What has been your lockdown take way experience? 
It is better than I have expected as finally I have an excuse to stay at home in my pyjamas!

What have you really missed because of lockdown? 
My parents, they live in Australia. 

What’s your hidden talent? 
I am ridiculously lucky.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
I love watching glitchy romantic movies with a bucket of Nutella or vanilla ice cream.

What have been your favourite TV show during lockdown?
Broadchurch – an English crime series.
