Beneficial ownership regulations for charitable trusts - Crowe Ireland
The Registrar of Companies has advised that all annual returns due to be filed between now and 30 June 2020 will be deemed to have been filed on time if all elements of the annual return are completed and filed by that date.

This measure is to enable businesses to work with their financial advisors on the more pressing and immediate financial challenges of the current crisis. You can view the announcement here.

If you are due to complete your annual return filing at any time up to 30 June your annual return will be deemed to have been filed on time if you capture the B1 form, upload your financial statements, pay the fee and submit it online and then deliver the signature page as normal to the CRO by that date. You may also complete the filing as normal using Revenue Online Service (ROS) signatures instead of a signature page.

Annual returns may not be processed within the usual timeframes, but anything received will be queued and processed as far as possible.

The CRO are asking companies to continue to file as normal during this period if you are in a position to do so and we would encourage all our clients to continue to meet your filing obligations as much as is possible so that we can manage this for you in a timely manner.

We will continue to monitor the situation and if there is a change to the date of 30 June we will post an update on our website and LinkedIn channel.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your regular Crowe advisor. We are here to help.
