Rory is a Director in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring team, specialising in receivership, restructuring, recovery and corporate advisory services. With over 10 years of experience advising lenders, financial institutions, investors and businesses, he has significant expertise in managing receivership appointments and delivering value-maximising outcomes in complex and distressed situations.

Rory is a CIMA-qualified accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the Institute of Technology Carlow, a Diploma in Financial Advice from the Institute of Bankers, and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Throughout his career, Rory has acted on a wide range of receivership and corporate finance assignments, advising stakeholders across multiple sectors, including property, construction, investment and commercial real estate. His expertise includes:

Rory has extensive experience acting as receiver on behalf of lenders and secured creditors across a diverse range of assets and businesses. He has managed complex corporate, fixed charge and trading receivership appointments involving trading businesses, investment properties, development sites and commercial assets. He has managed portfolios of assets associated with individual borrowers and loan providers. His practical, hands-on approach, combined with strong stakeholder management skills, enables him to protect and realise value while navigating challenging and often time-sensitive situations. The skillsets have in recent times been deployed advising affordable housing bodies on appropriate methodologies and structures for development, funding, owning, management of their housing stock portfolios.

Rory advises clients on property acquisition and ownership restructures, debt financing, investment opportunities and strategic corporate transactions. He has successfully led numerous advisory and funding assignments, particularly within the construction, property investment and commercial office sectors, providing commercially focused solutions tailored to client objectives.

Outside of work, Rory is a keen follower of sport, particularly rugby and golf.
