Magdel van Schaik is a Director in our Company Secretarial department, where she leads a team of company secretaries and governance professionals in the delivery of strategic governance and compliance solutions. A Chartered Secretary and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, Magdel has over 17 years’ experience in corporate governance, company law and regulatory compliance, helping organisations navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Corporate Governance from Ulster University and a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith College.
Magdel oversees and manages a broad and diverse client portfolio and plays a key role in the development and execution of the firm’s company secretarial and governance services, including:
- Company formations and annual statutory compliance
- Corporate restructurings and group reorganisations
- Share capital transactions and maintenance
- Voluntary strike-offs and company dissolutions
- Board advisory and corporate governance services
- Director and shareholder support services
As a principal point of contact for clients, Magdel is committed to building strong, collaborative working relationships underpinned by technical precision and commercially focused advice. She works in close partnership with the Audit, Tax and Advisory departments to deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions that support clients at every stage of their corporate lifecycle.
