He provides strategic and commercially focused tax solutions to privately owned Irish businesses, fast‑growing companies and family enterprises on matters such as corporate reorganisation planning, expansion planning, and tax-efficient profit extraction strategies. John has dealt closely with businesses of all sizes in sectors including property and development, professional services and consultancy, technology and digital, manufacturing and distribution, and creative and cultural.
John is a trusted advisor to founders and shareholders on structuring, succession, exits, acquisitions, reorganisations, financing, and tax risk management, with a proven ability to combine technical excellence with practical, client‑centred advice. He has extensive experience in managing Revenue audits, risk reviews, interventions, and settlement negotiations.
A Fellow of Certified Chartered Accountants and an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser, John is also the author of the Irish Tax Institute publication Practical Corporation Tax – The Professional's Guide.
