Crowe MacKay & Company Ltd. was appointed by the Court as Receiver and Manager (the “Receiver”) without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and property of Mark Hanna Holdings Ltd. (the “Company”) on December 8, 2025. Including the partially completed residential properties located at 1191 and 1195 Evergreen Way. Errington, BC. The Company operated out of Nanaimo, BC, as a property development company.
On or about June 23, 2026, the petitioning creditor, All Island Equity Mortgage Investment Corp. ("All Island"), filed a Notice of Application seeking an amendment to the December 8, 2025 Order to permit an increase in All Island's lending facility to the Debtor of up to $1.7 million for the purpose of completing construction of the property located at 1191 Evergreen Way. The Receiver intends to complete construction of 1191 Evergreen Way and thereafter undertake a sales process for the property.
On July 6, 2026, the Court granted the Order as sought in the June 23, 2026 application.
