Stephen Keeley is the chief legal counsel and the general counsel for Crowe LLP, overseeing legal matters and also working with the chief risk officer to mitigate risk for the firm. Steve's primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Professional liability and other litigation matters
  • Contract negotiation
  • Advising senior management and firm leaders on legal and risk issues
  • Licensing and regulatory compliance

Prior to joining Crowe, Steve was a partner at Tabet DiVito & Rothstein, where he litigated professional liability matters for Crowe as well as matters involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty, and other commercial litigation. He began his career at Mayer Brown in Chicago, where he litigated cases involving antitrust, intellectual property, and criminal defense matters. Steve also clerked for U.S. District Judge Harry D. Leinenweber.
