Shawn Kane is a partner in the Crowe LLP state and local tax services group and manages the delivery of a full range of tax services to the Chicago market. He also specializes in business restructurings designed to achieve a tax-efficient structure.

Shawn has more than 20 years of state tax consulting experience and has worked with many of the largest companies in Chicago providing services related to:

• Dispositions and divestitures
• Tax attributes
• Tax return filing options
• Apportionment methodologies
• Financial accounting consulting

Prior to joining Crowe, Shawn was a state and local tax practice leader in the Chicago office of BDO USA, LLP. He also served as a KPMG Illinois state tax specialist and worked in the EY state and local tax group.
