Mary Ann K. Travers

Mary Ann Travers is a partner in advisory for Crowe Advisory LLC and the office managing partner for the Crowe offices in Chicago and Oak Brook. Mary Ann leads the valuation services group at Crowe and has more than 25 years of consulting experience specializing in the valuation of businesses and business interests, intangible assets, liabilities, and complex securities.

Her expertise includes assisting clients in the areas of:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Income and estate tax planning
• Litigation support
• Economic analysis
• Regulatory requirements
• Recapitalization

Most recently, Mary Ann has focused on purchase price allocation and goodwill impairment studies performed in connection with business combinations and model validation and testing in the capital markets and banking industries. 

Mary Ann is a chairperson for the Women Leading @ Crowe program. 

Prior to joining Crowe, Mary Ann was an economic consultant and investment banker. She also worked in the valuation group for a Big Four firm for more than 10 years, where she led a national industry team.
