Marc Claybon is a principal in the tax group at Crowe. He specializes in corporate tax planning and consulting. Marc has more than 25 years of experience providing services related to tax consulting and compliance in many areas of taxation, including federal tax planning, income tax compliance, complex transactional matters, accounting methods, periods and credits, federal and state tax controversy, accounting for income taxes, and U.S. transfer pricing.

Marc is one of the cannabis industry tax leaders at Crowe and advises on complex industry tax matters, such as §280E and business structuring, for a wide range of organizations, including medical and adult-use dispensaries, cannabis and hemp growers, seed-to-sale integrated operators, ancillary products manufacturers and service providers, cannabis industry private equity funds, and individual investors. He frequently presents at the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and Illinois CPA Society, as well as conferences including the Heart of America Tax Institute, Denver Tax Institute, CannaLaw Summit, CWCBExpo, and Cannabis-Aid.
