Joseph W. Kowalczyk

Joe Kowalczyk is a partner in audit and assurance at Crowe LLP and a partner at Crowe Advisory LLC. He leads the insurance group, and he is the partner in charge of the Crowe audit approach and methodology for insurance companies. He specializes in providing services to various types of insurance companies and insurance related entities. Joe is the lead audit partner on several commercial, mutual, stock and captive insurance companies along with various other risk retention groups and special purpose insurance clients. He manages a variety of complex engagements within the insurance industry, with an emphasis on both GAAP and statutory accounting for insurance clients. 

Joe is responsible for assisting clients with the implementation of new accounting standards, communication of current reporting requirements, and industry issues. He also provides consultation and assistance in due diligence engagements for mergers and acquisitions.
