Dawnella Johnson is the firm’s consulting market leader for financial services – including the sectors of banking, fintech, insurance, capital markets and more. In addition, she serves as the New York market leader, responsible for building, leading, and executing a business plan across business units and industries to expand the firm’s footprint in the New York metro area.

With more than 30 years of experience, Dawnella has dedicated her career to providing internal audit and governance consulting services to financial services organizations. She has advised some of the firm’s largest clients, developing significant expertise while assisting banking organizations across various areas, including:

Dawnella is the immediate past board chair for Crowe and previously served as the firmwide internal audit leader. In addition, Dawnella is a frequent speaker on internal audit, governance, and risk management topics in the banking industry and is recognized for her leadership in this space.
