Daniel E. Megathlin

Dan Megathlin is a principal in the Crowe LLP state and local tax services group and leads the firm’s national sales and use tax services group. His focus is serving clients in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Dan has more than 18 years of experience helping clients manage state and local tax matters. He has assisted with many large state and local consulting engagements related to sales and use tax including:

• Transaction taxation
• Reverse audits
• Audit protests
• Voluntary disclosure projects

Prior to joining Crowe, Dan was employed by the Florida Department of Revenue as a sales and use tax auditor. He also led the sales and use tax practice for PWC’s Southeastern region and supervised multi-state sales and use tax projects for KPMG.
