The Financial Administration is switching to two-way electronic communication

With effect from 1.1.2022, the Financial Administration will communicate with its clients only by electronic mail. 
Electronic mail will be delivered by the Financial Administration through the Central Portal of Public Administration – slovensko.sk.

The electronic document will be considered as delivered at the moment of acknowledgement of receipt of the addressee or the expiry of the period of 15 days. Addressee can set up the notifications about a new message in the slovensko.sk which will then come either as an email or as SMS.

In the event that the tax entity (citizen, entrepreneur) does not have the slovensko.sk mailbox activated for electronic delivery, delivery will be done through the Post Office.

For foreign persons who do not have a slovensko.sk mailbox activated but have a mailbox set up in the portal of Financial Administration, the financial administrator will send documents electronically to the mailboxes to the portal of Financial Administration. If a foreign person does not have a mailbox on the slovensko.sk neither on the portal of Financial Administration, delivery will be done through Post Office.
