(with effect from 23
September
2020), the Government of the Slovak
Republic
approved the amendment to Act No. 461/2003 Coll., on Social Insurance, which
contains an annulment of § 293fb Section
2, Letter a)
of the Social Insurance Act.
School-age children
The conditions for entitlement to the pandemic Treatment of a Family Member Payment („OČR“) in the case of parents of school-age children remain unchanged by the amendment of the Social Insurance Act.
The entitlement to the pandemic Treatment of a Family Member Payment shall continue to arise for:
- a person who will take care of a child up to the age of 11 (up to the age of 18 in the case of a child with a long-term unfavorable medical condition) if the class, or school has been closed by a decision of the establisher or the Ministry of Education,
- the parent of a child who will take care of a sick child under the age of 16, i.e. a child whose health condition suddenly worsened and whose need for care has been confirmed by a doctor.
