Crowe Metals Accelerator earns “Certified for Microsoft Dynamics” accreditation

CHICAGO (Feb. 24, 2014) – Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S., announced that its Crowe Metals Accelerator has been awarded the “Certified for Microsoft Dynamics” accreditation. Successfully meeting all certification requirements signifies that the Crowe solution has met Microsoft Corp.’s highest standard for partner-developed software, becoming the first Microsoft Dynamics AX certified solution for the metals industry.

The Crowe Metals Accelerator works with Microsoft’s leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology, Microsoft Dynamics AX, with processes that are specifically configured for producers, processors, fabricators and service centers in the metals industry. The solution enhances core business functions that are found in Microsoft Dynamics AX by tailoring them specifically to the metals industry. It features divergent production processes such as slitting, shearing and saw-cutting; remnant management; advanced pricing logic; and methods to manage product attributes, dimensions and specifications.

Solutions that are “Certified for Microsoft Dynamics” have demonstrated quality development and compatibility by passing rigorous software testing performed by VeriTest (a service of Lionbridge). In addition, the Microsoft Dynamics partner must have multiple customers who are successfully using the certified solution and are willing to recommend it.
