Sarah Cole promoted to CEO of CHAN Healthcare

CHICAGO/ST. LOUIS – (March 10, 2015) – Crowe Horwath LLP and CHAN Healthcare announced today that Sarah Cole has been promoted to chief executive officer of CHAN Healthcare, effective April 1. Cole is currently senior vice president at CHAN Healthcare and a partner at Crowe. CHAN Healthcare is a subsidiary of Crowe, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S. Cole will be the first female CEO of CHAN Healthcare, which is one of the largest providers of risk consulting and internal audit services in the U.S. healthcare industry.

Cole’s healthcare career spans 20 years. When she joined CHAN Healthcare in 2003, she led the internal audit team at St. Vincent Health, a member of the Ascension Health network, based in Indianapolis. Cole transitioned to CHAN Healthcare’s corporate office in St. Louis in 2007 to manage services provided to its largest client, Ascension. Cole has since expanded her responsibilities and currently oversees the internal audit services provided to all of CHAN Healthcare’s internal audit clients. She is a CPA and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Cole also serves as the treasurer for the First Tee of Greater St. Louis.

Employing approximately 320 professionals, CHAN Healthcare provides internal audit and targeted consulting services to more than 700 hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country.
