Audit partner and not-for-profit specialist Roseanna O'Hanlon
Crowe regularly provides practical training sessions on guiding community & voluntary organisations in the implementation of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) guidelines for financial reporting by charities.
The Charities Regulator is expected to issue new requirements in relation to financial reporting soon. While SORP is not a legal requirement in Ireland, many Irish charities have voluntarily adopted it in order to follow best practice in relation to financial transparency.
It is important that charities and not-for-profit organisations are prepared.
Audit partner and not-for-profit specialist, Roseanna O'Hanlon, provides practical advice and guidance through the process, the detail and the many benefits to be derived from SORP.
