Lisa is a consultant in the firm’s tax department. A Chartered Accountant and AITI Chartered Tax advisor, Lisa also holds an AITI certificate in Employment Taxes and more recently obtained an AITI certificate in Intellectual Property Taxation Issues.
With over 15 years’ professional experience, Lisa oversees a comprehensive portfolio of both corporate and personal tax clients operating across a variety of sectors, such as hotel, tourism and leisure, retail, engineering and software and the not-for-profit sector.
She provides practical, strategic, client-focused advice across a range of taxation areas, including Corporation Tax, VAT, Payroll Taxes and Stamp Duty. Her tax specialisms include:
Share based remuneration (including the implementation of employee share schemes)
International mobility for foreign companies establishing operations within Ireland
Tax incentives for both Irish and foreign companies who hold intellectual property in Ireland
Company restructuring
Lisa also provides specialist tax advice on the area of offshore funds, which has become an increased area of focus for both corporate and individual clients, and advises high-net-worth clients on inheritance and tax planning issues.
Lisa was the tax lead on the firm’s receivership and liquidation services and frequently advises NAMA, amongst others, on taxation issues associated with the disposal of both commercial and residential properties, in addition to the VAT treatment of leases including assignments, surrenders and entering into new leases.
Building lasting, fruitful relationships with clients is a key driver for Lisa. She enjoys developing close working relationships where clients both trust and rely on her strategic advice and support.
