How to acquire services

DIR customers may acquire DBITS from Crowe through a statement of work (SOW) under DIR-CPO-5926.

  • Purchases of $50,000 or less: Complete the DIR DBITS SOW template and send it directly to Crowe for a written response. Prior DIR SOW review is not required, although the customer's internal procurement requirements still apply.
  • Purchases over $50,000: Texas state agencies must submit the draft SOW to DIR for approval before soliciting vendors and obtain DIR’s signature on the final SOW. Other eligible DIR customers should follow their applicable procurement procedures.
  • The customer determines the vendors contacted and the response deadline. An individual SOW may not exceed $10 million, including extensions, renewals, and change orders.
  • Crowe may respond only for services within its awarded DBITS categories. Work may begin after the customer and Crowe sign the SOW and Crowe receives a purchase order payable to Crowe Advisory LLC referencing DIR-CPO-5926.
