Coronavirus update no. 2/2020 – Local taxes measures

In a press release published on March 13, 2020, the Ministry of Public Finance announced the prorogation of the first payment deadline for the tax on buildings, tax on land and tax on transportation means.  

Therefore, for local taxes the payment term is deferred from March 31, 2020 to June 30, 2020.

The release also states that the usual bonus established by the Local Council, shall be granted if the payment of the taxes is made in full by June 30, 2020.

 

Please note that the above measures have not yet been officially implemented in a piece of legislation, therefore the measures in the press release are not yet legally binding.
