Francis Ugango

Francis is a Partner with Crowe Erastus & Co and has over 20 years of professional experience in financial management, audit and organizational strengthening. Francis gained his experience in the commercial sector whilst working with public and private companies including Unga Group, Shell BP, Mecer EPZ and Mater Hospital. This experience alongside over fifteen years’ experience at Crowe Erastus & Co. working with various INGOs and NGOs in Financial Management Capacity Building, Organizational Capacity Assessments (OCA), Skills Assessments as well as their Institutional and Project Audits.

Francis who is also the Partner in charge of Audit, Brand and ICT at Crowe Erastus & Co. has relevant experience in training in the areas of Grants management, public sector and general financial management, procurement and disposals and risk management. He also possess vast knowledge of various accounting applications including ACCPAC, BAAN, QuickBooks, MYOB, Pastel and CaseWare for Audits. Many of these applications use both Cloud and non-cloud (hardware/ computer) versions. Francis was part of the Crowe Erastus & Co team that worked on the MSH Fanikisha Project of USAID, specifically on the financial management and Grants Management strengthening processes and the IIED’s County Government Climate Change project financial management, capacity building, legal and financial framework development.
