Audit Team

President

Efstratios Paparides began his career in the Certified Public Accountants Board (SOL) after having successfully passed the certification examinations in 1984. He holds the title of Certified Public Accountant and he is an equal shareholder of Crowe since 1995.

Since 1996, he has continuously been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Crowe, in 2003 he has been elected as Vice President and since 2011, he has been elected as President of the Board of Directors of the company. As a member of the Presidium of the BoD, he participates in the Management Committee, while he oversees the functions of Human Resources, Collections and Public Relations of the company.

In parallel with his professional career, he is a member and he is actively involved in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL), mainly in the Public Relations sector, and in the Economic Chamber of Greece (ECG), where he has been an elected member of the Council of Representatives (CoR) for many years.

He is a graduate of the Economic University of Macedonia, he acquires vast experience in audit and advisory services, while before his career in auditing he had worked as an Executive in the Accounting Department of a multinational company and as a Finance Director of a group of companies.

 

Managing Director

Panagiotis Alamanos is the Managing Director of Crowe in Greece.

He started his career in the accountancy profession in 2004. He became a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL), a position he holds until today and through which he successfully encouraged the cooperation with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in professional education. He also holds the role of Director of Studies (Foreign Affairs) of the Institute of Education of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (IESOEL).

He has been a partner at Crowe since 2010 and since 2011, he has been a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), while since 2017, he holds the role of Vice President of the Federation of Mediterranean Certified Accountants. In 2014, he was appointed the role of General Secretary of the Economic Chamber of Greece, which he served for three years.

He holds a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Management Science from London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree (MSc) in Shipping and Finance from Cass Business School.

 He is married and father of two children.

 

Vice President

Eva Angelidi has 30 years of experience in the audit profession and has been a member of the company since its establishment. She has conducted statutory and non-compulsory (optional) audits of financial statements, as well as other audit services to entities listed in stock exchange, industrial and commercial enterprises and banking institutions.

Since 1996, she is a member of the International Affairs Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL) and she participates in congresses and committees through various international organisations, such as the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Accountancy Europe and the Federation of Mediterranean Certified Accountants (FCM).

Since 2002, she is continuously elected as member of the Board of Directors of Crowe, while since 2011 she holds the position of Vice President of the BoD, overseeing corporate communication, aiming at services quality optimization and corporate development.

She speaks French, Spanish and English. She graduated from Athens University of Economics and Business (A.U.E.B.), Department of Business Administration.

 

Vice President

Stavros Papakanderakis has more than 30 years of experience in audit and advisory services provided to all types of financial entities and industries, listed and not listed, Public and Private Sector companies, such as Industrial, Commercial, Technical, Tourist, Communications, Services, Financial, Agricultural, Public Utility State Companies and Municipalities.

He has also participated as a team member in projects such as “Reform of Financial Reporting & Development of Consolidated Financial Reports System of General Government Bodies, according to the European System of Accounts ESA 95 and the Handbook of Public Finance Statistics GSFM 2001” and "Advisory services on sampling checks in selected entities of the Central and General Government ".

Since 1995, he attains the professional qualification of Certified Public Accountant, while he is also an equal in rank shareholder of Crowe.

He is continuously elected as member of the Board of Directors of Crowe since 2008, while since 2011 he is elected as Vice President of the BoD, allowing him to participate in the Management Committee of the company.

He has graduated Athens University of Economics and Business (A.U.E.B.), Department of Business Administration and he is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL), and the Economic Chamber of Greece (ECG).

 

Vice President

Georgios Stamatiou has 30 years of experience in the audit profession. During his career, he has gained extensive experience in the audit of banking institutions, commercial and industrial companies as well as private and listed companies in the Athens Stock Exchange.

In 1988 he joined the Certified Public Accountants Board, while since 1998, he attains the professional qualification of Certified Public Accountant and he is an equal in rank shareholder of Crowe.

Since 2011, he is elected as member of the Board of Directors of the company and more specifically, since 2014 he is appointed as Vice President of the BoD.

Moreover, ,he chairs the Tax Committee of Crowe since 2011, he has participated in committees established by the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL) and the Hellenic Accounting and Auditing Standards Oversight Board (ELTE) aiming to work through issues related to tax compliance report,. Finally yet importantly, he is a member of the Tax Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce since 2013, participating as a lecturer on tax matters and as a coordinator of panel discussions in tax forum.

He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (1985) and he is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece (ECG).

 

Member

Theodoros Antonakis joined Crowe in June 2000. In 2009, he was promoted to Certified Public Accountant, and became shareholder of the company. Since December 2011, he is member of the Board of Directors of Crowe, honoured to be the first CPA in the Board of Directors without former participation in the Certified Public Accountants Board (SOL).

During his career as an auditor, he has participated in several audits in all entrepreneurship sectors, such as banking, industry, commerce, agriculture and public sector as well. Today, he is the head of an audit team focusing on financial statements audit projects for Private and Public sector entities, as well as tax audit projects according to the provisions of Tax Legislation.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, a master’s degree from the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece and he is certified in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

He has published several articles in national sectoral magazines about the International Standards on Auditing.

 

Member

Vasilis Koutsoulentis joined Crowe in September 2003. He holds the professional qualification of Certified Public Accountant; he is an equal in rank shareholder of the company and a Member of the Board of Directors, while he has also assumed the role of the Information Security Officer of the company.

Vassilis, having a successful 15 years’ career as an auditor and business consultant, has been involved in conducting financial and tax audits in industrial and commercial companies, as well as to listed or private companies in services, insurance, telecommunication and health industries.

In addition, he has been a successful team leader in public sector projects. His experience in consulting services mainly focuses on companies’ assessments and conversions, application of IFRS and tax advisory services.

He is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (A.U.E.B.), Department of Economics and he holds a master’s degree of the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL).

 

Member

Andreas Kyriakopoulos is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business (A.U.E.B.), Department of Business Administration and he holds a master’s degree (MSc) in International Money Finance & Investment from Brunel University of London.

He joined Crowe  in 2002 and became member of the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL), after having successfully completed the postgraduate courses of the Institute of Education of CPAs of Greece.  He has more than 16 years of experience in the audit sector, holding the professional title of Certified Public Accountant, and he has run numerous audits in companies from almost all sectors of Greek economy.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Crowe since 2014, being currently at his second term of office.

He oversees Corporate Social Responsibility matters, while he contributes to the company's IT development, both in terms of accounting and auditing systems. He strongly believes in the role of Certified Public Accountant and of audit in general in a healthy economy, but as well in the necessity of role’s constant upgrading in order to keep up with developments, both on a local and global level.

 

Member

Gregoris Tsaramanidis is a Certified Public Accountant and shareholder of Crowe since 2011, while he is a member of the Board of Directors since 2014, responsible for the operation of the largest branch of the company, established in Thessaloniki. In addition, he represents the company in the international network of Crowe Global, one of the top ten international accounting networks.

During his 15-year career, he was responsible for the financial statements audit and the tax audit of several entities in many sectors of the economy. He has also significant auditing experience in the Public Sector, while he has also participated in many special audits, such as assessments, valuations, conversions, due diligence, etc.

He is a graduate of the University of Macedonia, Department of Accounting & Finance, he holds an MSc in Business Information Technology from the Heriot-Watt University and a Master’s degree from the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL).

Since April 2014, he is an Instructor of Auditing, Internal Audit & Risk Management and International Standards on Auditing at the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL) and at Universities and Technological Educational Institutions.

Consulting Team

President

Panagiotis Markopoulos served as Certified Public Accountant to the Certified Public Accountants Board (SOL) from 1975 to 1993, while from 1993 to 2012 he served as a Certified Public Accountant for Crowe in Greece, being one of its founding partners. From 1981 to 1987 and from 1989 to 1996 he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of CPA members (Member, General Secretary, Vice President and President). From 1988 to 2005 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the “DEKA” (Public Entity of Transferable Securities). From 1996 to 2006 he served as a Certified Public Accountant – Member of the Supervisory Council of the “Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Greece (SOEL)” while from 1992 to 2007 he served as a member of the Council of Representatives of the Economic Chamber of Greece. From 1996 to 2012 he served as a Certified Public Accountant, President of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Crowe, while since 2013, he holds the role of the President of the Board of Directors of SOL Consulting SA (Crowe’a advisory arm), as well as that of Special Advisor to Crowe.

He has participated in numerous training seminars of Certified Public Accountants Board, particularly with reference to Accounting, Auditing, Chart of Accounts and their Standards, for all the sectors of the Greek economy (Commercial and Industrial companies, Banking Institutions, Insurance Funds, Public Entities, Technical & Shipping companies, Valuations - Conversions - Mergers, Bankruptcies, Expert reports, Applied Information Technology etc.).

 

Managing Director

Charilaos Faltsetas is the Managing Director and Head of Management Consulting Services of Crowe Advisory Services.

Charilaos (Harris) spent the first 8 years of his career in a Chemical Products & Fertilizers company and afterwards he worked as an IT Manager in the Institute of Geology & Mineral Exploration for approximately 10 years. In 1993 he switched back to the private sector, and more specifically to management consulting, where he initially worked for 01 Informatics SA as Director Advisory Projects, Public Sector.

In 1995, he joined KPMG as Director, having the responsibility for the Public sector, while more recently he held the position of Deputy General Manager in the same company.

He has overseen numerous consulting projects on several topics such as strategy, business planning, reorganisation, program management, technology transformation, performance measurement systems, etc.

Harris is a member of the Institute of Public Administration and a member of the Hellenic Management Association.

He is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, and he was further specialized in Information Technology and Operational Research.

 

Deputy Managing Director

Stamatis Dritsas has twenty years of experience in assurance and advisory services, such as risk management, corporate governance and transaction services. Since March 2016, he holds the position of Deputy Managing Director for Crowe Advisory Services.

He held various senior executive positions in the assurance and advisory services of three out of the four biggest multinational audit firms from 1995 to 2011 and then he served as Group Internal Audit Head of Agricultural Bank of Greece and as Internal Audit Head and Chief Risk Officer of Ethniki Insurance Group till 2015.

Stamatis is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL), certified member of the Association of International Accountants (UK) and Certified Risk Professional of the Bank Administration Institute (US). Furthermore, he is a member of the Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association and member of the European Accounting Association.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Piraeus, an MSc in Taxation and Audit from Panteion University, Department of Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Auditing from the same university.

 

Vice President

Aristomenis (Aris) Manouras started his career as a Lawyer of the Athens Bar Association in 1989. He specializes in Commercial Law and more specifically in the subject of Sociétés Anonymes, as well as in Administrative Law and in particular in the annulment proceedings. He has served as Attorney at the Supreme Court and the Council of State, and is also one of the founders and partner of the law firm "Zimianitis - Manouras Law Firm".

Since 1999, he holds the position of Director, Legal Department at SOL SA, and since 2002, he is the Legal Advisor and Vice President of the Board of Directors of SOL Consulting SA.

 

General Manager

Angelos Alamanos has over ten years of experience in services related to Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions. In the past, he had worked for Coca-Cola HBC and PwC.

Since 2013, he is the General Manager of SOL Consulting SA and Head of Financial Services.

He has served as Chief Strategic Advisor for several projects on operational and financial restructuring of companies with assets up to €150 million, as well as on transaction projects with companies’ value going up to €1.3 billion.

In addition, he has successfully managed a large number of valuation projects for transaction purposes and fair value opinions for mergers and acquisitions purposes.

For many years, Angelos was a member of the Advisory Support Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (ESYOEL), while in parallel he has taught “Advanced Financial Management” to ACCA candidates.

Angelos holds a BSc in Management Sciences from The London School of Economics and Political Science, he is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and candidate at Level 3 for the Chartered Financial Analyst credential.
