Background

Maxime Hazim has extensive experience in independent valuation, financial modeling, and fairness opinions. He began his career in 2007 at Ernst & Young (EY) before joining Crowe HAF in 2011. In 2020, he was promoted to Partner, with a focus on strengthening the Valuation service line. Maxime also delivers training on valuation topics at Université Lumière Lyon 2, the Compagnie des Conseils et Experts Financiers (CCEF), and for his investor clients. He is actively involved in several professional associations.

Expertise

Maxime advises both listed and private corporate clients, as well as investment funds and family offices. He has deep expertise in a wide range of valuation matters and is a recognized specialist in independent expertises (fairness opinions) related to public tender offers.

His experience also covers the following areas:

  • Independent valuations and fairness opinions for financial, tax, or employee shareholding (FCPE) transactions
  • Valuation of financial instruments and management incentive plans
  • Statutory audit of contributions and mergers
  • Complex financial modelling
