A Shared History: Crowe HAF and the relocation of the Crowe Global network in France
Crowe HAF's development is closely tied to the history of the Crowe Global network. In 2007, the firm Constantin Associés - then representing Crowe in France - was acquired by Big Four firm Deloitte. At that time, Marc de Prémare, who was the partner responsible for international clients at Constantin, decided to found Crowe HAF to maintain Crowe’s presence in France. He was soon joined by Olivier Grivillers, a founding partner of the valuation practice at Constantin, who had initially continued at Deloitte.
The founders’ original ambition was threefold: first, to ensure continuity for Crowe’s French clients; second, to build a recognized player among large French corporations through strong connections with Crowe teams worldwide; and third, to position Crowe - both in France and internationally - as a high-quality alternative to the largest global networks.
Following this re-establishment, several independent French firms joined the network and, together with Crowe HAF, formed the Crowe France brand.
How Our Network Operates
Internationally, the network is supported by the Crowe Global brand, which brings together more than 200 independent firms across 150 countries, consolidating over 45,000 employees. Nationally, the network includes 13 independent firms and 1,200 employees under the name Crowe France, spread across major cities and regional decision-making centers.
Within the network, each member operates independently within their own partnership, providing a high degree of agility. However, being part of the Crowe network means committing to a shared ambition of delivering top-tier service quality, built on common standards for clients and grounded in a core set of professional values: Protect, Share, Invest, and Grow.
As such, Crowe is a major player in its field, ranking among the top 10 global audit and advisory networks according to the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) rankings.
