Marc de Poulpiquet

Background

Marc de Poulpiquet began his career at Citeo (formerly know Eco-Emballages), where he spent over 15 years in various roles including management, financial control, internal audit, and project management. In 2011, he joined Crowe Praxiam—part of the Crowe HAF Group—as a Partner, where he developed the firm’s services related to Producer Responsibility Organizations. Today, he holds rare expertise in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), the operations of Producer Responsibility Organizations, and audit and internal control systems. In 2019, he was appointed CEO of Crowe Praxiam, that has since become a leading player in its sector.

Expertise

Together with his team, Marc advises companies placing products on the market, industry federations, and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs). He conducts consulting, support, and audit assignments. With in-depth knowledge of regulatory obligations, he primarily focuses on:

• Interpreting updates to EPR regulations and understanding their practical applications
• Producing tailored guidance to help internal teams understand their compliance responsibilities
• Designing audit programs and methodologies for producers, including control policies and audit selection - methods
• Developing reporting tools for upstream and downstream declaration campaigns
• Overseeing regulatory audits of product declarations and associated eco-modulation
• Supervising periodic self-assessments for PROs and/or companies operating under individual systems
• Enhancing internal control systems for PROs (including mapping and reviewing key processes, identifying and rating major risks, developing mitigation plans, and implementing procedures, KPIs, and reporting tools)
