Job Summary
As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for the delivery of audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion in clients ranging from medium-sized enterprises to Plcs based all over Nigeria. Successful candidates should have experience in an auditing environment and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be involved in planning and project managing all aspects of audit including:
- Control and substantive testing (including audit of consolidation and statutory accounts)
- Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects, focusing on optimizing profitability
- Directing and leading teams, reporting directly to the Team Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree from a reputable university with either an ACA/ACCA qualification.
- At least 4 years current (including up to 2 years post qualification) external audit experience in a reputable professional accounting firm
- Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and guidelines
- Knowledge of CaseWare working papers and/or CaseWare Idea - whilst not necessary will be an added advantage
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
