The Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) has issued a high alert that a wave of cyberattacks on Ukraine and NATO countries could spill over in coming months. “Malicious cyber activity could impact Australian organisations through unintended disruption or uncontained malicious cyber activities.”

The ACSC recommends that organisations urgently adopt an enhanced cyber security posture. This should include reviewing and enhancing detection, mitigation, and response measures. The ACSC has also strongly recommended that Australian organisations implement the Essential Eight.
