He is a member of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants, AC, a member of the Association of Public Accountants of Baja California Sur, AC, Former President of the Los Cabos Delegation of the Public Accountants Association of Baja California Sur, AC, and is currently the Vice President of Public Accountant of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de Baja California Sur.
In 2003 he obtained his academic degree as Master in Taxation at CETYS University Baja California.
