He collaborates in the consulting practice of the Mexico office, where he has served clients of the industrial, commercial and services branch for more than 3 years. He has 35 years of experience as an external auditor, internal auditor and corporate governance adviser. He is a corporate governance advisor for important business groups, companies in the agricultural sector, telecommunications, real estate developments, financial sector and non-profit organizations.
Carlos has participation in the Business Coordinating Council, IMCP, in the Association of Public Accountants, where he has collaborated in several commissions having been president of technical commissions of the IMCP and the Public Accountants Association of Mexico. He is a member of the Public Accountants Association of Mexico, the Mexican Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and frequently participates as a national speaker in diverse forums.
He is the author of the book "Automated Auditing Practice (12 editions)", author of several articles in the Accounting Journal of the IMCP and participated in the development of the annexes to the Code of Best Corporate Practices in the Academic Subcommittee of the Business Coordinating Council.
He has been a Professor at the Higher School of Commerce and Administration for more than 30 years in all matters of auditing and corporate governance, serving as President of the Audit Academy from 1996 to 2004 and is responsible for the corporate chair in corporate governance in the UNAM
