Crowe Maldives is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that optimize business processes across our diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions, streamline workflows, and enhance internal applications. This position offers hands-on experience with modern full-stack technologies and provides an opportunity to contribute to innovative automation initiatives while developing your technical expertise in a professional, collaborative environment.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to streamline business processes. 
  • Build and enhance web portals and internal applications with modern full-stack technologies. 
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines primarily using Python
  • Create user-friendly and responsive front-end applications using React and preferably Next.js
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Audit, Tax, Advisory, etc.) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and priorities using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana). 
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices, testing, and documentation. 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Contribute to solution design discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and backend services. 
  • Solid experience developing full-stack applications (frontend + backend + database). 
  • Hands-on experience with React; knowledge of Next.js is a strong advantage. 
  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases. 
  • Demonstrated use of project management tools and ability to manage project lifecycles. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
