Required Qualification: Bachelor of Accounting or Equivalent Qualification with minimum 2 years work experience in taxation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, assist them in tax audits conducted by tax authorities and advise them to make smart decisions.
  • Provide proactive tax advice to local and international clients in complying with local and international taxation through tax planning, structuring and consulting, including working with Crowe Global member firms. 
  • Research and analyse the implication of tax laws, regulations and other advice issued by the tax authority in order to provide the best advice to clients. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service to help them make smart decisions that adds lasting value to their businesses.
  • Contribute to the growth of tax advisory services by actively participating in business development activities.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Should be interested in developing a career in tax practice. 
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines. 
  • Competency in English & Dhivehi language, written and spoken.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent detail-oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Dedication to client service and high-quality work output.
