Joeri is presently a Director in Crowe SG. He is a financial advisor and an international tax and legal expert for more than 20 years. Joeri is a member of the International Fiscal Association both in Mauritius and Belgium. He was Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Consultant in Belgium before moving to Mauritius. He started his career at Ernst & Young, before becoming a partner in a Belgian tax and legal practice. From 1999 till 2004 he was also a judge at the Commercial/Industrial Courts in Antwerp (Belgium).
For several years he also served as a Chairman of the tax committee for Europe, Middle East and Africa within Crowe Global, a global top to network of auditors, tax and legal consultants. The international experience and global exposure he obtained during his career enables him to be a knowledgeable person in both civil/continental and common laws. He communicates fluently in Dutch, French and English.
