As the COVID-19 pandemic continues into its second year, auditors are faced with continuing challenges. Remote working, uncertainty in the economy, and ongoing challenges with obtaining sufficient appropriate audit evidence have all been highlighted by the IAASB in 2020 as critical.

5 Ethical Challenges
A working group created by the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) and national ethics standard-setters (NSS) from Australia, Canada, China, South Africa, the UK, and the U.S. has released a new article, entitled, "5 Ethical Challenges That Will Intensify as the Pandemic Wanes."
