A part-time worker is an employee whose contractual weekly working hours are shorter than those of a full-time employee engaged in the same type of work at the same workplace.

Employees with contractual working hours of at least 60 hours per month are required to enroll in National Health Insurance. |

Employees are required to enroll in National Pension if they meet any of the following conditions:
o The employee works 60 hours or more per month, or o The employee works for three months or more, or o The employee earns a monthly income of KRW 2.2 million or more. |
