Crowe Global Elects New Board Members

As organisations grow, they strive to better integrate resources to provide a seamless approach to clients working cross-border. Hiring and mobilising of local talent becomes a key focus for organizations looking to gain a competitive advantage.

The current level of disruption to global markets directly impacts the workforce. In response, organisations are investing in new more flexible ways of working to meet the growing need of employees and international clients.

Crowe Global (Crowe) has seen rapid growth in their Global Mobility Services team, which has more than double its size in the past 24 months. In Switzerland, a key mobility location in the Schengen area, Crowe has invested in strengthening their GMS team and welcomed Exactio Ltd. in Basel, as a new business associate earlier this year. This admission complements the three established Crowe Switzerland member firms based in Zurich, Lugano and St. Gallen and additional business associate headquartered in Geneva.

In further recognition of the Crowe’s commitment to global services, the Global Mobility Services team won the prestigious title of Tax Provider of the Year 2019 at the Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards. An award which recognises best-in-class tax service provision across locations.

Karin Verheijen, Per Melberg and Selim Bucher, Managing Partners, from Exactio Ltd., comment on the important role the Crowe team plays in delivering services:

“When providing international tax and global mobility services it’s key to have access to a global network to deliver services across borders in a smooth and seamless way to our clients operating internationally. It is however, even more important and valuable to be able to work with colleagues abroad who are like-minded and have a similar approach towards client service and quality standards, who are flexible and responsive and always keep the client service delivery as a primary focus.

We have found that the Crowe Global network lives these values as a global network. We are extremely delighted to be associated with this network and supporting the further expansion of Crowe in the Swiss market.”

David Mellor, Crowe Global CEO adds:

“We continue to grow our network services and global reach to support our international clients at this uncertain time. Our Global Mobility Services play a vital role in supporting thousands of international employees, globally. As the eighth largest accounting network in the world, it is our mission to think ahead and to help our stakeholders make smart-decisions that create lasting value.”
