Crowe Global Elects New Board Members

Crowe Global (Crowe), one of the largest accounting networks in the world has announced three new members to its board of directors. Stefan Ferris, Managing Partner (Canada), Rabea Almuhanna, Managing Partner (Kuwait), and Vijay Thacker, Chief Executive Officer (India) take their positions on the Crowe Global board as of 1 January, 2024. Alongside the new additions, one existing member Erastus Omolo, Managing Partner (Kenya) was successfully re-elected as a member of the board.

Leadership change is a continuing theme at Crowe with the recent announcement of Kamel Abouchacra, former Executive Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa, taking on the network’s Global Chief Executive Officer position from November 1, 2023. Crowe’s ongoing investment in their leadership team underlines their strategy to steer the network towards excelerated future growth. 

Crowe has benefitted from sustained growth for the past decade and continues to broaden its membership, service provision, and geographical reach. Operating in 146 countries across the world, the network has seen six businesses join during 2023 in key global locations including Sierra Leone, Indonesia and Portugal.

Commenting on the board of director changes, Kamel Abouchacra, incoming Chief Executive Officer, says:

The newly elected board members will serve for a two-year term.
