The State Tax Service is launching a digital service called TAX Control for reporting violations in the sphere of trade and services.
This was announced on Facebook by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesia Karnaukh. According to her, the tool is designed to identify violations in trade, services, or public catering. It is available 24/7 and from any device.
The digital tool is hosted on the web portal — users should click on the “TAX Control” widget in the upper right corner and submit a report.
In particular, one can report: failure to issue a fiscal receipt; trading without a license or in violation of excise product regulations; refusal to accept a payment card; operating without state registration; or employing undocumented workers.
“This is about shared responsibility and combating the shadow economy. By the way, businesses themselves have long been asking for such a tool, as it is effective in fighting double standards,” the head of the Tax Service emphasized.
The agency clarified that a report must include the following fields: type of violation; region and address where the violation was detected; and a brief description of the situation (at least 30 characters).
Applicant data is also mandatory, including full postal address, phone number, and email.
TAX Control will operate throughout Ukraine, except for temporarily occupied territories where tax authorities are currently not functioning.
