Mr. Norrbäck has a long professional experience in commercial project development in the infrastructure sector. He worked for over 10 years with Fortum and its predecessors in their international energy investment business. He has been for several years Fortum´s financial director in operations focusing on industrial outsourcing of power plant projects in North East Asia, based in Beijing.
He has been involved in financial structuring of infrastructure projects, negotiations of project agreements, tariff structuring and long-term investment planning for the companies as well as preparation of business plans and project information memorandums. He has also been involved in a number of equity investments in IPPs and BOT projects worldwide for example in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hungary and in Eastern Europe. Recently Mr Norrbäck has mainly been advising on energy investments in the Baltic States and Russia.
He holds a M.Sc. in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology and a M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration.
