Our client is a US based, international hotel chain running a Field Retirement Plan for senior executives in the US and worldwide.

Issue

Our client wanted to ensure it was coordinating and managing the collection of monthly retirement plan contributions from its 200+ participating hotels worldwide.

Approach

The team provided accounts receivable function support, offering a logical solution by building a walk-through prototype for our clients Rewards team.

The prototype was designed to ensure the controls and data integration was seamless.

Outcome

The walk-through prototype developed remains at the heart of Crowe’s assignment many years on.

Regular briefings to discuss unpaid balances previously took over an hour whereas, with our team in place, these briefings now take a couple minutes.

Thanks to the simple streamlining solution, the month-end balance of outstanding contributions has reduced from over $400,000 to ~$80,000 (pre-pandemic).
