Tom Elliott, Head of Private Clients at national audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, Crowe UK, has been named as one of eprivateclient’s ’50 Most Influential’ advisors, for the second year running.
The ‘2019 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential’ identifies, recognises, promotes and introduces the leading practitioners of the private client professions and shows the breadth and depth of talent at the forefront of the private client professions today. Tom was recognised as a leader in providing the best possible advice and service for clients and driving innovation in the way the needs of wealthy individuals are met.
Having joined Crowe in 2008, Tom has more than 25 years of experience in advising a range of clients including High Net Worth (HNW) individuals and their families, family estates and entrepreneurs on all areas of UK tax planning and compliance. Much of Tom’s focus in recent years has been on international clients, many of whom either live in the UK or hold strategic UK property investments. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Crowe’s Private Client team meanwhile has grown considerably in recent years and has been increasingly recognised for its work. The team now comprises of 12 partners, across eight offices nationally. Three practitioners have been promoted to partner internally within the last 18 months, with a further external hire made to complement the team. The team acts as trusted business advisors to their clients, looks after the tax affairs of some of the most successful HNW individuals and families in the UK.
