Year One

Soft skills:
During this training, various soft skills will be covered to assist trainees in also gaining a better understanding of the Dutch culture and developing fundamental communication skills.

Topics:

  • Basic communication skills (delivering bad news, receiving and giving feedback, nonverbal and verbal communication);
  • Documenting findings;
  • Dutch culture; and
  • Basic written communication (including writing findings).

 

Audit tool:
Trainees will receive information about important functionalities of the audit tools and practical instructions on how to create an audit file using these tools.

 

MS Word & Excel (Basic and intermediate):
The MS Word & Excel Basic/Intermediate training will provide participants with basic knowledge of the tools, enabling them to improve their productivity and get more out of their work documents.

Topics:

  • Introduction to MS Word & Excel; and
  • Basic, relevant functionalities.

 

Financial reporting and audit English:
During this training, trainees will be provided with a vocabulary of English audit terms, enabling them to understand and effectively use these terms in Engagement.

Year Two

 

Soft skills:
In addition to technical expertise, soft skills are of great importance in a work environment, especially in service-oriented activities, client interactions, and working within teams consisting of highly educated professionals. Soft skills are critical for the participant to successfully complete the apprenticeship.

Topics:

  • Leadership;
  • Communication skill; and
  • Performance evaluation discussions.

 

MS Word & Excel (Advanced):
During this training, the trainee will learn more about MS Word & Excel providing them with the necessary knowledge to be able to handle more complex worksheets and formulas.
