Martyn is a Associate Partner based in our Dunedin office. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Internal Auditor (IIA UK), holds the IIA IT Audit Certificate and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with over 15 years assurance experience. Martyn specialises in internal audit and AML/CFT compliance and manages the provision of these services to our clients.Martyn manages the provision of internal audit services to a number of public sector and corporate clients and AML/CFT services to a range of financial institutions.
He is an experienced internal audit professional having worked as an internal audit manager at two large European multinational financial services companies as well as providing internal audit services at Crowe. His responsibilities range from providing fully outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services to undertaking specific assignments such as enterprise risk assessments, fraud risk assessments, investigations and contract disputes, governance and internal control reviews and AML/CFT compliance and consulting assignments. Martyn is also proficient in the use of data analysis and data mining tools.
