Launching a Sustainable Enterprise Management Program in the Public Sector: Part One

Enterprise risk management (ERM) is a concept that has gained tremendous interest and support throughout the public sector in recent years. While there has been a great deal of guidance published to help organizations implement a comprehensive program (for example “the COSO Framework, CFOC/PIC ERM Playbook”), there are many practical implications that many public sector entities still find challenging. In this two-part webinar series, we will walk through an ERM implementation using real-life scenarios and provide specific tools and examples to maintain a sustainable ERM program.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Establish a risk management framework
  • Identify the important role of the educator and facilitator in establishing this program
  • Acquire tools and templates for establishing the program and creating a risk profile
Part one of this series discusses establishing the foundation for sustainable ERM.
