Evolving Model Risk Management Through Technology

Since the inception of the Supervisory Guidance on Model Risk Management in 2011 for Office of the Comptroller of the Currency- and Federal Reserve Board-regulated banks, and the adoption by the FDIC in 2017, institutions have adopted a range of practices to manage and monitor this important risk function. And now, many responsible for managing model risk are also being called upon to identify and provide oversight of critical nonmodels including spreadsheets, applications, and tools.

In this recording, Crowe model risk management specialists will share their perspectives on how to further evolve model risk management practices and provide an example of a model risk technology platform to support this evolution.
